Round Senufo Stool 02

Hailing from the Ivory Coast in West Africa, these gorgeous hard wood stools are hand-carved from wawa wood, using traditional indigenous techniques of the Senufo people. They’re made from just one single piece of wood, with each design completely unique and one-of-a-kind.

The Senufo people use these as stools during ceremonies, carrying them from village to village. They can also be used within your home as a side table or a chaise piece.

Care Instructions

Woods will expand and shrink with changes in temperature and humidity. Take care not to place your furniture next to radiators or anywhere subject to excessive changes in temperature or moisture.

To clean, wipe with a damp cloth before buffing with a dry cloth. In the event of more stubborn marks, a solution of mild detergent should be used on the cloth. Silicone based polishes should not be used on the wood as they will build up and leave a sticky residue on the surface.
